I was recently contacted by a lovely customer who wanted a hat sized for a newborn baby, based on a (adult-sized) hat I have currently in my shop. Look how tiny it turned out!

It seemed extra small after knitting lots of adult-sized hats. I'm happy to say she also wanted another little hat to match a cosy suit for the baby with silver tones: here it is with some matching tiny mittens : )
