I'm currently working on a piano runner custom order: it's been an enjoyable process with swatches going back and forth! I started knitting from the centre out (from a provisional cast-on), and finished the first half 2 days ago! The main (piano top) section has parallel cables, which intertwine into this cable of my own design for the drop section (down the side of the piano).

The yarn used is a cream Aran wool held with King Cole Cosmos yarn, which has the sparkly sequins in. It will (hopefully!) look great for Christmas!
